I would never use Sykes again. We lost our 600 deposit when changing accommodation from 1 week to weekend and the owner of the property did not see a penny of it. It was all taken by Sykes However the accommodation, location, cleanliness, facilities were all of a very highest standard and the owner needs to be shown appreciation to this factor

We had a fantastic stay and couldn't have asked for more. The cottage was spotless, beautifully presented, and the fully equipped kitchen had everything and more we needed to cook family meals with ease. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax, and the hot tub was a real highlight. The children's play area was a huge hit and kept the little ones entertained, giving us a chance to unwind. Everything was thoughtfully provided, making our stay comfortable from start to finish. This place really is a home from home, the owner has thought of ever last little touch making it a perfect holiday. It's a beautiful place quite, homely, spacious. Outside has areas for playing with the kids or relaxing and an eating area with BBQ we loved it here it was our second time visiting and we will be back next year

We had a brilliant stay in Launceston. The house was fully kitted out with everything we needed and felt calm, comfortable, and genuinely peaceful. It was the perfect place to switch off. The cliff walks nearby are stunning and absolutely worth the trip down from London alone. Wed happily stay again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break in a beautiful area.

We booked this property for two weeks for our 10th wedding anniversary, it exceeded our expectations. Spotlessly clean, well equipped accommodation with amazing views. We have stayed at many places in Cornwall, this is one of the best, we were sad to leave. Hot tub and conservatory were great on rainy days, we enjoyed sitting in the garden when weather was better. Ideal location to reach places we like to visit. We are hoping to book again for next year.

Ashlea is a fantastic place to stay, the house had everything we could need. The hot tub was a hit with our party and the views are amazing. It was lovely to go outside first thing in the morning and all you can see is fields and sheep, it is very peaceful. We also really enjoyed toasting marshmallows over the fire pit in an evening. Tim was incredibly helpful and very quick to respond to any questions. We will certainly return as we have had a wonderful week.
I booked this property for a family holiday with my wife, my daughter and her partner, my 3 grand daughters Twins 8 and a 3 year old and my son. We certainly were not disappointed as the property had everything you could want and MORE, we were all impressed as soon as we entered and it was spotlessly clean. We really looked forward to coming back to the property after days out as it had something for everyone, we all enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit area was great in the evenings, the children loved roasting marshmallow's over the fire. The garden area has lots for the children and with the sheep for company this was just the perfect holiday for everyone. Tim, the owner was on hand should we have needed anything, he came by very early every day to check the hot tub and restock us with logs for the fire. 5 stars all the way from the Regan and Nee family

Not a single negative point to make. This property is exquisite with so much attention to detail that you won't want for anything during your stay. Clean, luxurious and private with views from every angle. Literally one of the most wonderful properties we've ever stayed at. Great location too with so many things to do within half hours drive. We wouldnt look anywhere else for somewhere to stay in Cornwall after finding this. Tim was a fantastic host too, helpful, welcoming and very reassuring that he was on hand should we need him.

What an incredible property! Tim has created something truly magical here, with thoughtful touches everywhere you look. His communication was excellentalways quick to respond and genuinely helpful. The setting is breathtaking, and there's nothing quite like waking up to watch lambs frolicking in the field each morning. The attention to service was outstanding too even during Tim's absence, his friend ensured the hot tub was perfectly maintained daily and was delightful to meet. The house is absolutely stunning, spotlessly clean, and so comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

What a wonderful property. There were 4 generations ranging from 75 down to aged 7 and everyone was thought about. The property has everything you could ever want making it really feel like home from home. Tim the host is very attentive and responsive to any questions we had. On arrival the house was fully decorated for Christmas including a beautiful tree. The hot tub was attended to early morning every day of our stay including Christmas Day. The welcome pack was so thoughtful including a Yule log and bauble making set for the children. Without a doubt our Christmas has been extremely special as a family helped by the outstanding property.
Fantastic place to stay, every comfort had been thought about, flowers on the island, robes, tea and coffee. Equipment in the kitchen was amazing. Alexas in every room. The owner messaging to make sure we were okay. The hot tub was very big and under cover, so even when it was a rainy day we could still use it. Very high standard cottage.
One of the best places we've stayed in so far. Almost everything was considered, from child play areas to the fireplace and cleaning. We couldn't find a single flaw in the villa or the service. We have stayed at many properties around the UK and this was one of the best we have stayed in. It was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. Some of the attractions we wanted to visit were a little far away but it was worth a few extra miles driving.

We recently stayed at Ashlea 5 adults, 3 children and had an absolutely wonderful time. The views were lovely looking out over the open fields. The house itself was super comfy and stylish, with all the modern touches you could want. The kitchen was perfect for cooking up meals, and the living areas were spacious and cozy. But the best part? The hot tub! Soaking in it while taking in those incredible views was the highlight of the trip. The garden at this house was also fantastic! The fire pit was perfect for evening chilling and roasting marshmallows. The swings were a hit with everyone, giving us all a chance to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The children particularly enjoyed the hammocks too! For families, the astroturf area was greatits soft and safe, so the kids could play around without any worries. If you're looking for a spot to relax and enjoy some topnotch amenities, this place is perfect. I can't recommend it enough!

Stunning property to spend my golden 30th birthday at end of May 2024! Its spacious, luxurious, and cozy as Beyonc would say! We relaxed in the sheltered hot tub with idyllic views of sheep gently grazing on lush green fields and hills. I also wouldnt be surprised if a professional landscaper designed the garden. The living spaces and kitchen were modern with effective utility room. Tim was a considerate host as he regularly cleaned hot tub. He was also responsive when answering queries. Very impressed with the high attention to details, hosts really thought of everything for elevated comfort. Highly recommend this place!

3 different couples each with a young child 6 adults, 2 children and 1 infant came to stay for a holiday in Ashlea. We were all VERY impressed with the property, we had plenty of space to eat and relax. The property has been finished to an exceptional standard. The outside facilities are fantastic, lovely area for adults to relax in hammocks and a nice little play area for the little ones. Especially loved that the hot tub is under cover.
