Blue Bay Beach House was exactly what we had wanted with everything we needed for our family holiday. Our group ranged from age 3 to 70 as well as dogs and we found the accommodation set up ideal and the stunning views with both sea and countryside meant we could drink it all in. The owners were incredibly helpful and made sure we were looked after.

Great views but a very tired property. I would not recommend as property needed new furniture inside and out and a good clean in particular the bathrooms. Very disappointed.

A lovely place to stay in a beautiful north Cornwall resort. The description and photos are accurate. We were a family party of 13 dog of ages ranging from 13 to 80. The place is full of nooks and Crannies so everyone had their own space when they needed it space to lay out games, crafts etc. Meals round the long table with great views of the bay. At the top of the village so a vehicle useful for transport of gear for the beach. Also within easy reach of other Cornish attractions many splendid local beaches. Also yummy Cornish cream teas at the NT cottage at Bedruthan steps work up an appetite by walking there along part of the North Cornish coastal path. The hosts James and Pippa live at the site and were very helpful. Also served up a splendid sea food BBQ on our last night.

We stayed at Blue Bay for a hen do. The house was perfect for the occasion and we also found it useful that some of the rooms were slightly separate to the house for the pregnant ones who wanted some peace and quiet. The hot tub was a great addition and the views are just breath taking. Fantastic equipped kitchen. Lovely addition of a kettle, mugs even some breakfast bars etc. in most rooms. Very handy having an en suite for each room too. The bedding was soft and comfy. The balcony was really nice for the bride and her cousins. The people who arrived first were greeted and showed around by the owners which was really nice and they then didnt trouble us at all during our stay. Thank you, we had a great time.

From the moment you walk through the door you are amazed. The view, the size of the kitchen, the amount of crockery, glasses and kitchen equipment, the configuration of the seating, the comfy beds and did I mention the view!! Wonderful holiday house! Stayed for 1 week as an extended family of 13 plus 3 dogs for a birthday celebration. Owners were very welcoming and friendly. Responded promptly to any little issues it was a bit cool one night and we couldnt work the heating out Lovely comfortable beds and fresh top quality bed linen and towels. Nice big communal dining area great for get togethers. amazing sea views from almost everywhere in the house. The house overall is really well equipped, everything you could need is in there. 4 fridges and 2 dishwashers, Washer and tumble dryer and vacuum provided for if needed. Hot tub was amazing !! And very well used throughout our stay. Lovely out door party area, plenty of seating. Couple of outdoor chairs needed replacing as broken, and baking oven trays need replacing but minor bits really. Would love to return again.

House is in a great location and we were very lucky with the weather. It is well kitted out but quite grubby and not as clean as previous houses we have rented. Rooms and bathrooms in need of updating.

This was a great house for a family holiday. It is well equipped, for cooking large family meals, it is comfortable and homely and just right so we felt able to relax and enjoy our time together. The garden has plenty of seating bbq and hot tub, all well used by us. The walk to the beach is steep down hill and we often opted for the bus coming back although the fitter ones would walk. There are many options for eating out and takeaway deliveries or nearby collection. We had 3 generations staying from toddlers to retirees and all had a great time, half of the group enjoyed a surfing lesson. The views from the house and garden are amazing and I highly recommend a stay at Blue Bay Beach House and Mawgan Porth.

What a beautiful large house ideal for our family to join us celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary . It was just as we imagined from the photographs we had carefully studied prior to booking. So much room for 21 of us , each room was lovely, although all did did not have TV and a couple no tea making facilities but it did not bother us, but it may some. Spectacular views enjoyed whilst many monoply and other games played on the long huge dining table this property has , a very well equipped house for every meal , pots and pans galore! The walk to the beach was lovely just a bit steep walking back but we managed ok with it . In all we , of all ages had a most wonderful time and a most fabulous special Wedding Anniversary . Many Memories made to treasure for us , our children and Grandchildren . Thank you very much

Lovely house, beautifully furnished and equipped, very helpful and welcoming owners on site, who provided us with a wonderful chefquality barbecue on our last night.

We had a wonderful break during our stay. Pippa couldnt have been more welcoming. She briefed us on the house. There is a key safe so theres always a key to hand, which is great with such a large amount of people. The house itself was large enough to accommodate our party of 20. We had 7 cars which we managed to park comfortably. The view from the house is beautiful and the walk down to the beach is short but very steep for people who might struggle. The kitchen is well equipped to have a self catering holiday with all of your home comforts. We even discovered that it came well equipped with cleaning products.

We had a great stay at Blue Bay House for my sisters hen do in May 2022. The house is brilliant for large parties there were 19 of us including a baby! and there was plenty of room for lots of fun and entertaining. Each room had an ensuite too. The views are amazing and the garden with hot tub is the perfect place to enjoy them. James and his family are based on site and are so friendly and accommodating for any questions we had. We didnt want to leave and Id definitely recommend the property to anyone. Mawgan Porth is a great location as you can walk to the beach and pub what more could you want! Thank you!

Great property and lovely location, slightly further from the beach than expected and not easy to walk for the oldest member of our party. Great facilities enjoyed by all of us but some aspects of the property are a bit tired and in need of updating. Nothing to spoil our stay though overall we had a great holiday.

The moment we walked into blue bay beach house, it felt like a home away from home. James and Pippa made us all feel very welcome from the start. All rooms were beautifully presented with plenty of space in the majority of rooms. The smaller twin rooms were given to the children so no issues there and the house in general certainly suited a big family. There were plenty of brand new towels given in all rooms which was fantastic. Clearly many rooms had been freshly painted or redecorated before our arrival and a new carpet was arriving the day we left for the main hallway so plenty of good things going on. Overall this property gave us the space we needed as a big family to just be together, especially since the weather wasn't the best we've had whilst holidaying in Cornwall so we had more time in the house and spent loads of time at the local beaches and in Newquay at various attractions. We will definitely book again in the near future as the accommodation was perfectly adequate for what we needed as a big family. Again James and Pippa were on hand for any issues or questions we had throughout our stay. Can't wait to book again for next summer.
