Chi Prenn Byhan Reviews

Could do with new lamp in living room, and celing lamp apart from that everything was great and very comfortable. So quite and peaceful. Would defenatley come again.

Lauren
We loved our stay. The lodge was clean and tidy and the beds extremely comfortable! It was in an amazing location with a 2 minute walk onto the coastal path and a short walk down to an amazing beach! we would love to come again!
Lovely views and comfortable quiet stay.
Very clean lodge in an excellent location. Lovely walks with breathtaking scenary on the door step. Dog loves it. Hot tub is cleaned and maintained daily Very helpful and quick onsite support
We had a lovely break in Chi Prenn Byhan. The Lodge was very clean, spacious and felt like home for the week I really like how it was decorated with all the cornish homeware and had all the facilities we needed during our stay. The hot tub was the highlight of our stay, it was kept clean and maintained by the staff on site. The views were amazing although very windy but that was the time of year we went, February I could imagine this in the summer season being beautiful We had a lovely walk into tintagel where we enjoyed a pub lunch. The only criticism I have is the knifes can do with updating or sharpening which i tried and the sofa wasn't very comfy. This doesn't mean we wouldn't book again because we would 100 book again even looked at some dates of availability and I can highly recommend this lodge to anyone else looking at booking. You wont be disappointed Thank you to the owners and to the site who keeps it looking spotless Until next time, thank you
Christopher
The site is very well maintained but the lodge we think is in need of an update the Furniture is very tired
Kathryn

Beautiful property with amazing views of the surrounding countryside definitely the best location on site and so close to Tintagel, coastal walks and tea rooms with crazy golf! . Its spacious, well equipped and the hot tub is the icing on the cake. We will be back!
Steven

The lodge was as described and every detail was covered it was well equipped and everything was clean and worked well, we will definitely be coming back next year also the information folders provided were excellent which made planning our week even easier
As described and In a beautiful part of the country
Situated in a beautiful scenic spot with everything we needed and so comfortable . There was a slight issue which the owners sorted even though it was a Bank Holiday weekend and kept in touch with us. Definitely recommend staying there with wonderful places to visit on your doorstep there.
Our second visit to this property, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. Clean, comfortable, gorgeous views, hot tub, what more could you want? We will definitely return as there are so many things to do in this lovely part of the country, or just to relax with a glass of wine or two. Recommend The Cornishman in Tintagel for a great lunch, and Pengenna Pasties in Fore Street for the best pasties ever!
Chi Prenn Byhan is outstanding. Everything you could possibly need for a week away from home. It was spotlessly clean, gorgeous fluffy towels, uber comfy beds and the hot tub a luxury. The view is captivating. We spotted short eared owls in the field in front and heard barn owls calling. The location is perfect, very quiet and peaceful. Walks straight front the front door. The Rocky Valley walk which you can make circular, where fresh water meets salt is a must! We had a brilliant stay and would not hesitate to return. Thank you for sharing your wonderful holiday home x
Nicholas
We enjoyed a delightful stay at the property, which was well located, furnished and equipped. The tiles in the bathroom would benefit from some diluted bleach and a stout scrubbing brush to remove unsightly stains, this, however did not detract from an enjoyable stay.
Jacqueline
Truly a lovely lodge, very comfortable and clean throughout with amazing views. Just wished we had booked for longer. Would recommend and hope to return.
Michael
Shower water temperature could have been hotter. Outside chair had broken slate. Oven instructions should be left clearly available.
A very nice property for my family to setup base and explore north Cornwall from. It was ideal for my family, including 2 teenage daughters and a dog. The owners clearly take pride in providing all the facilities required to have a nice and relaxing holiday away from working life.
Fantastic lodge in a stunning location. The lodge is very well equipped and very comfortable with great countryside views.
Stephen
Beautiful homely lodge, with everything you could need in a peaceful relaxing location. Hot tub is an added bonus after a day out walking & exploring the area which has plenty to offer. Hope to be back.
Excellently situated accommodation which was clean and comfortable. The site is well maintained and within reach of many attractions. Would be happy to go there again.
Arnold
We had a great time , perfect for a little family that likes a relaxing holiday with nice walks & nearby attraction like tintagel castle . Only setback was the wifi connection wasnt working . The phone network signal was poor too which me & my wife didnt mind , but really annoyed our teenage son
Property was lovely and clean. Plenty of facilities available, which made it very accommodating. Absolutely stunning view and the quietness was ideal. The only downfall is that the hot tub had not been prepared prior to our arrival meaning it was not ready for use upon arrival when the hot tub was then filled, there was a fault, unfortunately due to the fault, an engineer could not attend until the next morning, we then had to wait the day for the hot tub to heat up. This meant that we unfortunately lost an evening and day of the hot tub use which was one of the main reasons we chose this specific accommodation. Whilst the situation was dealt with as quickly as possible, it did feel in that respect we did not get our full monies worth. We would return, however I would contact prior to make them aware of our upcoming arrival to ensure all facilities are ready for use.
Delightful stay. Very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would need for a self catering stay and an excellent position for touring the area. Highly recommend.
Was a great stay, weather was great, chalet was comfortable, had everything you needed, except a spatula lol. Had a little issue which was resolved straight away, close to a few towns and attractions, coastal walks on your doorstep, was a lovely break for us. , perfect
Lovely scenery very comfortable chalet
Sandra
Had brilliant holiday, great place to stay, loved it! ! Two small issues, shower mats in shower seemed slippery even though we rinsed out each time. Only found 1 smallish frying pan? which didn't seem very non stick. This did not effect our hols at all and would certainly return, GREAT TIME, THANKS.
Bit annoying to have to wait 12 hour beyoind check in time as cleaners hadn't fnished. minor moan . As we stayed 2 weeks a washing machine would have been useful, as would a decent frying pan! This aside, the cabin was very comfortable and the site perfect, so peaceful, just what we wanted. The view is amazing and the hot tub was lovely. We will definitely return to this cabin.
Katharine
A lovely lodge, we had a great holiday
A very nice lodge in a low key peaceful well maintained holiday park . The lodge was very clean all furniture was comfy and the kitchen was of a high standard. But it was the outside that stole the show . Sat in the hot tub looking at the views was a joy .
Muhammad
Everything was local, we had lovely weather for the whole week. Everything was described as perfect. Only thing is, the Holiday Park needs its own Launderette Service, as the one nearby, is based on service washes.
Joseph
Had a very comfortable stay and the lodge is in a perfect location for exploring North Devon and beyond. Nice views of the valley and the site felt very peaceful. The cleaning team led by Carole did an excellent job after storm Eunice and its issues. The hot tub was brilliant and maintained every day. Only slight issue for anyone is the microwave being out of action....but that's very minor indeed. Would totally recommend.
Lorraine
The lodge was spotless and everything you could think of to make it home from home was provided. We loved the location and the short walk into Tintagel was ideal. We will definitely be returning.
Georgia
Wow, what an amazing holiday we have had. The owners made it feel so special with the little touches of the Christmas decorations. The document sent before our holiday with all the information was a perfect touch. We loved every single second. Thank you
