Newquay Zoo (8 miles, 15 minutes) and Blue Reef Aquarium (8 miles, 15 minutes) make excellent family days out. Watergate Bay (6 miles, 12 minutes) offers world-class surfing. The famous Eden Project sits 18 miles away (35 minutes drive). Padstow's working harbour is 12 miles distant (25 minutes).
